...LAKESHORE FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY AFTERNOON
THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING...
* WHAT...Lakeshore flooding possible.
* WHERE...Oswego and Jefferson counties.
* WHEN...From Thursday afternoon through Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...The combination of high water levels and high waves
may result in lakeshore flooding along the immediate Lake
Ontario shore, especially in bays, inlets, and other low lying
areas along the shore. Significant shoreline erosion may occur.

Information:
If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.

...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT THROUGH
SATURDAY AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...Long duration heavy snow possible. Total snow
accumulations in excess of 2 feet possible. Snowfall rates may
reach over 2 inches per hour at times. Winds could gust as high
as 40 mph.
* WHERE...The Eastern Lake Ontario Region. The greatest snow
amounts are expected to focus across the Tug Hill Plateau.
* WHEN...From late Wednesday night through Saturday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The
hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening
commutes.

Begin needed preparations at home or with your vehicle. Travel
may become difficult, so plan accordingly.
